The Department of Music offers courses leading to the Master of Arts (MA) degree with a major in Music and supporting courses for the Master of Arts (MA) degree with a major in Integrated Studies.

Within the Master of Arts degree with a major in Music, students may select one of two concentrations:

1. General Music
   1. Instrumental
   2. Vocal-Choral
2. Music Education P-12 (leads to professional educator certification)
   1. Instrumental
      1. An Alternative Class A program is available for students who completed a non-teaching degree or for students who want to change teaching fields
   2. Vocal-Choral
      1. An Alternative Class A program is available for students who completed a non-teaching degree or for students who want to change teaching fields

The graduate programs in music are accredited by the National Associated of Schools of Music.
