Veterans Benefits Addendum July 27, 2021
Students utilizing VA education benefits shall not be charged a penalty, including assessment of late fees, denial of access to classes, libraries, or other institutional facilities, or be required to borrow additional funds because of the individual's inability to meet their financial obligations due to the delayed disbursement of a payment to be provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Beginning Spring 2022, CJ 201 - Criminal Law - is no longer a Writing Intensive (WI) course. If taken in Spring 2022 or after, the course can not be used to meet the WI requirements.
Effective August 1, 2022
In November 2021, Congress passed Public Law 117-68 amending Title 38 USC 3679(c)(2)(A) by adding Chapter 35 recipients to the definitions of covered individuals to be charged in-state tuition. Effective August 1, 2022, all Chapter 35 recipients will receive the resident tuition rate at JSU.
