1 | Applied Music must be studied each semester for a total of eight semesters. In the sixth semester of study, the student will present a junior recital. In the eighth semester of study, the student will present a senior recital. Students will have many performance opportunities prior to these recitals, performing in Concerts and Recitals and Studio Classes, as guided by their Applied Music instructor. All eight semesters of Applied Music are to be taken in the same instrument. |
2 | Two (2) ensembles/semester. Vocal performance majors are encouraged to participate in at least one ensemble each semester, each for one credit hour. Each student is required to participate in ensembles representing their area (vocal/choral). Students must participate in twelve required ensembles: six large and six small. |
3 | Foreign Language sequence must be taken in the same foreign language. |
