An introduction to electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems found in manufacturing. Topics include: safety, basic electricity, circuits, inductors and capacitors, AC basic, transformers and three phase power, relays, and motor starters, switches and sensors, hydraulics and pneumatics, mechanics and power transmissions. An introduction to the fundamental practices of manufacturing, providing students with a foundational understanding of material processing, tools, and equipment.
