By utilizing best practices, instruction will promote culturally responsive teaching by centering on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the design and delivery of lessons through authentic representation of the music of the world’s cultures. This global perspective will draw primarily upon the traditional music of Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania.
